Trust and safety
Teacher identity checks are not live yet
Music-Ready plans to let teachers confirm their identity with UAE PASS or an approved ID check. That isn't available during the beta, so every teacher is shown as "Identity not verified". Only accept a teacher you already know and trust. When identity checks do arrive, the badge will mean identity only: it won't mean we've checked qualifications, run a background check, or assessed teaching quality.
Parents stay in the conversation
For students under 18, every message between a teacher and the student is visible to the student's parents or guardians, and they can reply. There is no private channel between a teacher and a child.
Guardians decide
A guardian chooses whether their child can work with a teacher, message, record homework and more. Each permission can be withdrawn at any time, and it takes effect straight away. If two guardians disagree, the more restrictive choice applies.
Private by default
Student profiles, recordings, exam documents and practice records are never public. Recordings open only through short-lived links (5 minutes) for people allowed to see them. Teachers see an age range, not a child's date of birth. There is no public teacher directory, no bookings and no home-visit addresses during the beta.
Report and block
You can report a message, a conversation, a recording or a teacher, and block someone. A participant's report about inappropriate contact or a child's safety pauses that conversation while it is reviewed.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. In the UAE, call 999 for police.
Music-Ready's reporting tools are not an emergency service.
