For teachers
Getting started with Music-Ready
Eight steps from sign-up to your first term report. Free during the private beta.
- 1
Create your account and turn on two-step sign-in
Teachers see children's information, so Music-Ready asks every teacher to use an authenticator app. You get recovery codes in case you lose your phone.
- 2
Add your materials to the library
Upload sheet music (PDF or images), audio or a demonstration video, or add a link. Organise them by category so you can attach them to assignments in a click.
- 3
Invite your families
Create up to 10 invitation links at once and send each by WhatsApp or email. A parent accepts for their child (adult students accept for themselves). Accepting is their consent for you to work together.
- 4
Set the first assignment
Add pieces, scales or exercises with minutes, tempo, bars and hands. Save it as a template to reuse, send it to several students at once, and set a weekly practice target.
- 5
Schedule lessons
Add weekly lessons in Dubai time. Music-Ready checks for clashes, and families can add lessons to their phone calendar. After each lesson, mark attendance.
- 6
Review homework
Students record or upload a clip. Comment at the exact second it matters, add written or voice feedback, award XP, and save the phrases you use most.
- 7
Keep families in the loop
Parents see practice, homework and your feedback in a weekly report. Post a studio announcement for holidays, and write a term report at the end of term: practice figures are added for you.
- 8
See how the studio is doing
Studio insights shows time to feedback, homework waiting, assignments completed and 12 weeks of practice. Download a spreadsheet for your own records.
Good to know
- Parents can see every message, and messaging with children stays off until a parent allows it.
- There's no public teacher directory, booking or payments during the beta.
- Levels and badges are practice milestones, not exam grades. Music-Ready isn't affiliated with any exam board.
