Chord transposer and capo helper

Type chords with spaces between them and choose how many semitones to move them. Useful when a song is too high or low to sing, or to read a part for another instrument.

With the capo helper, enter the shapes you play and the capo fret to see the chords that actually sound.

Free, no sign-up, works on phones. Nothing you play is recorded.

Transposer

Type chords with spaces between them, for example C G Am F or D/F#. Each chord moves by the same number of semitones (half steps).

Result:

D A Bm G

How to use it

  • Type your chords, for example C G Am F.
  • Choose Move by (up or down), or tick Guitar capo helper and choose the fret.
  • Choose how to spell the chords: the usual chart names, all sharps or all flats.
  • Chord types (m, 7, maj7, sus4) and slash chords (D/F#) are kept.
